Not my pets :)

First of all, i would like to comment that i don’t have pets. I love the animals so much, but I don’t share the idea of “to have pets”, because I’m not good enough to taking care to others. For that reason, I’m going to talk about my mom’s and grandmother’s pets.

My mother have three dogs. The first and most dear of them is Mateo “Tito”. He is 10 years old and he arrived to our house after being mistreated by his previous mistress. I think that my mom saved him. Mateo is so surly and jealous. Also he is friendly with (and only) new people. A curious datum: he loves to play with cats, even he enjoy that the cats chase him.  The second one is Aquiles, he is a Pastor Alemán. He likes the disaster and to go to dog parties every night; in despite of my mother’s concern.  Finally, the third and youngest dog is Magnus (an inherited name from his former family). He came to our home because his previous house was too small for a dog with so much energy (like this). He is tender and he has a bad and dangerous habit: he likes to eat paper.

My grandmother have a nice cat. His name is Pelusa or Peluso (it depends on the day). He is really playful and bold. He is the best friend of Mateo.
The responsibility is essential when we talk about the pets. ¡Long live animals, including the humans!

Comments

  1. It's incredible that Mateo (Tito) and Pelusa/Peluso are friends, it's like fire and water, normal opposites and not supposed to being friends, but there they are (ha ha), I like when dogs and cats live together and being friendly to each other :)

A selfish biography

Hello, i am Horacio Andrés Román Navarro i came from Curacaví, Santiago and i have lived there all my life: a "born and raised". I was born in November, therefore i am Scorpio (It was a premature birth, and unfortunately I could have been Sagittarius). I like to say that I am a timid person, however, your impression relating me it could be different. Finally, like a particularity, I am an only child. In my free time, I enjoy read, especially Hispano-American literature (my favourite author until now is José Donoso) and dramaturgy in his classic and emergent version. Also, I like to go to the theater and cinema, and then do critical texts about it (visit in web the page “Jóvenes Críticos GAM”). Besides, my favourites bands are Belle and Sebastian and Camera Obscura , which coincidently came from Glasgow, Scotland.

A big decision

First of all, I would like to mention that my vocational decision to enter to the University was too hard. I had so many interests (and I’m still having it). For that reason, I think that the system of postgraduate studies is made for me (an egocentric perspective) because I could choose different courses and subjects that would complement my base career. Also, I think that when I finish Psychology I would like to study other Program.   The variety is dangerous for me. When I think in my postgraduate studies I feel confused again. However, nowadays the interrelation between different areas of knowledge has good “status” (multidisciplinary). If I had to choose today, I would like to study courses like drama, literature or ecology. If you are wondering why I don’t consider subjects in a direct relation to the Psychology, I’m doing it too.     I think that the postgraduate studies are the best opportunity to travel to other places, because your academic training...

The new project of "Belle and Sebastian"

Exactly three months ago Belle and Sebastian launched a new single called We were beautiful , a song that get closer to the classic style of the band than their latest album Girls in Peacetime Want To Dance . Two weeks ago, a new surprise: a warm song called I’ll be your pilot . What does mean the media movements of the band?   Like an attempt to calm the vehement questions of the fans; Stuart Murdoch, the vocalist of the band, report in an interview that three new EP’s going to arrive soon (the first EP going to be available on December 8 th ); and each one of them will contain approximately five songs. In an adorable gesture, Belle and Sebastian included the faces of lucky (and British, of course) fans in the sleeves of the little albums (that will conform a big album called How to solve our human problems ).   I have many expectations about the content and rhythms of the songs (I especially hope a song performed by Sarah Martin, my favorite member of the band)...
